Park(ing) Day 2015

For Park(ing) Day 2015 in Wilmington, NC, I along with several other architects at LS3P, designed and built a structure made of wood pallets for the AIA to display this year's design awards.  Wood pallets were collected from one of our firm's projects and used to create a inviting public space that offered visitors a chance to take a seat and get a chance to view the current architectural work that is taking place in their city and the surrounding area. The space offered some great interactions that lead to nice discussions about the current and future standing of the City, but also brought awareness to the AIA and it's goal to promote architects and their work.
