Cincinnati, OH | 2010

A third year project, the ICA program brought together exhibition, work and living space in downtown Cincinnati, OH.

A study on glass and it’s properties, the ICA uses a series of curtain grids at different sizes and layers to achieve transparency in public places but  more opaqueness in private ones. It is divided into two buildings connected by a bridge that allows residents to live and work  in one and hold exhibitions in the other. The exhibition space starts on the larger scale grid and moves to layered smaller ones across the site to the more private residential tower.
